Shocking news. Professor Sardana was a very good friend and an excellent Professor. His students always spoke very highly of him. His contributions to his students, profession, and the Indian Library Association are matchless and it will be difficult to match them. May God give him peace in Heaven. R. N. Sharma, USA
It is really sad to know about Prof. Sardana's demise.I did attend his cremation ceremony on Feb.27,2016.I had known him almost for 5 decades, firstly, as a student, and, then as a colleague in the DLIS(Delhi University), and, as a professional colleague. He was indeed a noble human being and intelligent professional. May his soul rest in peace. We pray that He may give the bereaved family sufficient courage to face this irreparable loss with courage.
