Koteswara Rao Retired University librarian from the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad,

Indeed it is very sad news to all of us. I had the good fortune to work with Dr Burhanuddin at University of Hyderabad during the fag end of my career. It is very rare to find such a humble and humane person with a big heart. He is like a big brother to many of our LIS professionals for his profound knowledge and wisdom. It is great loss to the entire library fraternity in Hyderabad. Since I am in Australia, I can only express my condolences thru fb and wish that his soul rest in peace and may God give strength and courage to his family members to bear the grief. He will be remembered for his helping attitude, subject knowledge, and his cool temperament that he never gets angry at all.
